Easter 2009

What a fun Easter we had. We had a beautiful storm in the early hours while it was still dark outside. It was a beautiful sound to hear the thunder and rain outside. We need the rain so bad. The storm made our electricity go out so it was so peaceful to sleep without the sound of a humming fan and we awoke to the sound of birds chirping loudly outside the window. I think the birds always have a happier chirp after they have made it through a storm. It was so peaceful that I am afraid we almost slept too late. We dressed quickly for church and the kids had just enough time to peek at their baskets and see what the Easter Bunny brought. It is always such a fun surprise to see all the goodies. We went on to worship and enjoyed the service. When we got home they grabbed their baskets and began the hunt! Everyone was quiet successful! We went on over to the grandparents house for more hunting with the cousins and a delicious meal. After a great meal and fun egg hunt we went back home for a much needed nap. It was such a relaxing and fun day. We ended our beautiful Easter day with a family walk. It was a great Easter. Everyone enjoyed the day....unfortunately so did the dog who ate a bag of m&m's. We were a little nervous since dogs are not supposed to eat chocolate. She did get sick but I am happy to report she recovered and is back to her usual spunky self!

"Baff" Time

"Baff Time" is Jack's favorite time of the day! I think he would stay in the sink all day if I would let him. By the time it is all over with it looks like Jack, myself and the kithchen floor all have taken a "baff". Needless to say he is one clean, happy little boy!

Birthday Surprise

This was a really fun shoot! We did this for my mother-in-law's birthday. It was the first time we have all got together for a family photo. I must say that all the girls did a superb job keeping the secret! It was a real success! Honey was surprised and very happy!

Griffin Family Photos

This is my sister-in-law and brother-in-law and my beautiful twin nieces. The girls are real naturals in front of the camera. It was hard to choose the best picture since they all turned out so great!

Coleman Family Photos

This was our first family photo since Jack was born. He was a real sport and just did an amazing job! We all had a lot of fun.
